Reviews and Ratings
My stay had its ups and downs. The hotel is undergoing renovations which made the entrance quite uninviting with all the scaffolding around. However, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious and modern. The dining options were somewhat limited and the road conditions to get to my room were a bit concerning, but overall, I had a decent experience.
I booked this hotel for a one-night stay after attending the Wairarapa Balloon Festival and really appreciated how smoothly they handled the change in my reservation due to a postponement. The food at the buffet dinner was beautifully presented and delicious, although it took a while to get served at the bar. My room was clean and had a lovely outdoor patio, but I noticed a couple of minor issues like missing supplies. Overall, the complex felt well-kept but I wouldn’t mind seeing some updates. I'd definitely consider returning for more local events.
I had a mixed experience during my stay. The facilities were great, offering a variety of activities and amenities. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel welcome. However, the dining experience was lackluster, especially for vegetarians, and my room had some signs of wear and tear. Despite these issues, I'm unsure if I would return based on my food experience alone.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the facilities and the restaurant were enjoyable, my room left a lot to be desired. The value for money was questionable, especially given the room issues I encountered. The staff were also hit or miss, with some being friendly while others seemed disengaged. Overall, there are definitely some positive aspects, but improvements are needed regarding room standards.
I stayed at this hotel for my daughter's 13th birthday celebration, and it was a fantastic venue for the occasion. The girls had a blast swimming, playing pool, and enjoying various activities. While the room was warm and had all we needed, it did get a bit loud at night. On the downside, the facility could improve on noise control and monitoring guest activities.
